The Union Mine High School and El Dorado High School parent communities have come together with the goal of hosting a fantastic joint event for our seniors to celebrate their graduations. We are calling it Senior Spectacular, a Sober Grad Night Event, and we need your help. 

 

In an effort to give our kids a safe and, most of all, fun place to celebrate, we’ve partnered with the beautiful new Apex facility at the Redhawk Resort. APEX offers activities such as go karts, bowling, virtual golf, billiards, and much more! Additionally, parent volunteers will be hosting games and activities for chances to win amazing donated prizes. We’ve also organized areas to relax and watch movies, talk, and of course, eat.

As both EDHS and UMHS are Title I schools, we are working diligently to keep ticket prices to $50 or less for each student. We are currently seeking sponsors to cover the overhead costs of the facility, decorations, transportation, and other event needs. Donations for this event are being collected by the UMHS Sober Grad Night Booster Club, a 501c3 non-profit organization. Donations to this booster club in support of either schools’ students may be tax deductible. Donors names will be displayed at the schools’ graduation celebrations and at the Senior Spectacular event as a thank you for your support.
