In 2020 Motor Vehicle Accidents were the number one cause of death amongst teenagers.

In 2021 more teenagers were killed in motor vehicle accidents in May and June than any other months on the year.

Teenagers are more likely to be killed in a motor vehicle accident on a weekend and between 9 pm and midnight.
-
In 2021 19% of teens 16-17 years-old and 26% of teens ages 18-19 killed in motor vehicle accidents had blood alcohol levels greater than .08.
